Antique Carved Pine Wood Fireplace surround

Antique pine carved fire surround with sienna marble slips. This massive and finely carved pine surround has a breakfront shelf with carved detailing throughout, beneath this there is the central tablet with carved lion mask and paws. The legs again are profusely carved with oak leaf and acorn decoration. This impressive architectural piece was recently removed from a stately home in Berkshire where amongst others the famous industrialist Andrew Carnegie would spend his time on vacation.
