This prestigious Solid Oak Hardwood Staircase was rescued from a British Stately Home in the historic parish of Old Windsor, Berkshire. The present building is located in an area where there has been history pre-dating the Domes day Book (1086) which was part of the vast Royal Windsor Forest.

Early references suggest that Coworth Park was Manorial. The present building was constructed in 1700s and has had later classical additions particularly to the exterior part of the estate. Some former owners of the property are William Hatch (1770), William Shepheard, John Alves Arbuthnot J.P., Sir William Farmer and Lord Stanley, the Earl of Derby.

The Royal Ascot Race is the pinnacle of the flat racing season and also the most prominent race meeting in the world, being close by leant it to have a lot of historical association with the English Aristocracy.
