The Oak Staircase was commissioned and fitted by its owner Lord Stanley in late 1800s, even though there is a label dated 1885. It is possible that this Staircase was initially constructed then for another building and subsequently removed and adopted to this Stately Home. One of the items have an attached makers name card being .

The Staircase is composed of the main Staircase flight and two left turns to the top floor gallery, including landing and handrails. A professional carpenter can adapt this Staircase to any specific requirement.

2 turn staircase: H 2.5 m
Main Post: H 1.3 m (16cm x 16cm)
Spindles: H 0.9 m (7cm x 7cm)
